The AlwaysOn app is designed to keep your device screen awake using overlay or Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode. The app does not collect, share, or store any personal information.

However, the app uses a few trusted Google services that may handle anonymous technical data:

1. Firebase Analytics

• Collects anonymous usage data to improve app performance.
• No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.

2. Firebase Remote Config

• Checks app version compatibility.
• Sends only the app’s version code and package name.
• No user data is collected.

3. Google AdMob

Displays banner advertisements managed by Google. Google may collect:

• Device model and OS version
• Approximate location (based on IP address)
• Advertising ID (you can reset or opt out)

You can opt out of personalized ads at any time: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Permissions Used

AlwaysOn only requests permissions required for its core functionality:

• SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW – Display overlay above other apps
• WAKE_LOCK – Keep the screen awake
• INTERNET – Access Firebase and AdMob services

The app does not access contacts, photos, storage, camera, microphone, or location data.

Data Storage

The app stores only your display mode preference (Overlay / PIP) using Android’s local storage. This data remains on your device only. All stored data is deleted automatically when the app is uninstalled.

Children’s Privacy

The app is not directed toward children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If a parent believes a child has provided information, please contact us to remove it immediately.

User Rights

Because the app does not collect or store personal data:
